2007 rxt 215 need info

i'm looking at a brand new 2007 rxt 215 the dealer says the sc washers are titanium, does anyone know if this is true or are they guessing. thanks

there 100% ceramic washers, dont listen to the sales guy one week there selling bath tubs next selling you a ski LOL . 08 there metal but id still upgrade to Riva washers as there the most reliable...

where you buying it? there a couple places in ontario with some good deals on 09 left over pluse there a $2500 rebate coming out soon.

In b.c there's some good deals right now 2 year warr and $ 1500.00 rebate.

thats not that great... was just talking to a guy and he can buy a 09 rxp new left over with trailer for 12,000 out the door and this is befor the new rebate coming out for $2500 off with 5 year warranty. I think the new rebate covers new 07+ ski's, Either way spen a little more and get an 08+ ski as the charger is way better. better oiling, better washers and stronger internal's but just stay away from the RXT-X.

Is there any truth to this 5 year warranty promotion the current promo runs until the end of april, you must have a crystal ball or what! What's different between the 07 rxt 215 and the 08 rxt 215 sc.

ive heard it from a couple people thats all i know.

On 08 the supercharge was revamped heres what been changed

-oil jet that forces oil into the clutches and bearing's
-bigger shaft
-metal clutch washers

also on 08s there is no longer a Jpipe, the exhaust manifold connect right to the water box. jpipe can sometimes devolope leaks.

these changes greatly increase the reliability. I change my oil and check the slip on the charger every 25hr's. numer one reason they fail it people dont maintain them. as the parts in the charger wear the clutch washer slip more which creats more wear. so maintaining the correct slip will insure the most life out of the charger.

Is it a big deal to update the 07 rxt 215 sc to the 2008 specs, is it just the washers or the whole shaft. Found a brand new 07 rxt 215 for under 10k with trailer so a few upgrades might be all its needs.

not a big deal, pull it off and drop it off to Mark at Racetech, heck, while your at it get him to put an Engine Tech wheel in it and add some pony's!!

I just did that to my 05 motor, I also updated to the 255 X cam chain, chainged the oil jet in the block and switched to the new style S/C oiler. I had my motor completely apart so figured why not!! Motor is now brand new, and a lot stronger!
