Default My sweetheart has passed on

I was the center of his world, and his mine.
Some local riders have met him, and either on the shore, in the van, or at home, he waited for me with vigilance and I was always so excited to see him and feel his love and compassion.

I loved MaX with every ounce of my heart. Golden Retrievers are just so special.

    Peter,

I'm fairly new to this forum, and haven't met you but wanted you to know I feel for you. The video was fantastic - what a beautiful dog. I loved the brief shot of him on shore, looking out at you on the water. We had a Black Lab for 14 years and just lost her last August when time and assorted ailments caught up to her.

On the brighter side, we're now raising a gorgeous Yellow Lab puppy for the B.C. Guide Dogs Society. It's very rewarding helping her and watching her learn. She'll be somebody's eyes someday.

Anyway, take care. Get out skiing with your bud's - it'll help a bit.
