Default Noob questions about Jetski 650 X2

    I just bought a 1991 Kawasaki X2 and have a question:
    1. The outlet tube on the head has been pinched off so it doesn't "cool too much". I saw another X2 picture and it didn't even have this outlet tube on the head. What gives?

You can see that the outlet tube is kinked as it leaves the brass fitting and if that's not enough there is a zip-tie around the tube 2" later.
    Any help is appreciated.

Yes, out to a pisser on the front left. I wonder why someone would go to great lengths to restrict this flow...

It was probably restricted for winter riding. With a dual cooling line setup like that, you run the risk of over cooling during the winter. Replace it with a good hose without the kink & zip tie.
