Lake Erie Riders
Hey guys,
who here rides on lake erie?
I just bought a Yamaha GP1200 '99 and would love to meet with other jetski owners.
Maybe we could get a little get together for Labour day weekend somewhere on Lake erie.

Question: off topic, I have a TomTom GPS, could I use that on the water or do I require a specific gps for the water?
Thanks so let's get a little gathering together.

I get out on erie every once in a while. I can't commit to a date for a ride at this point as I have an erratic work schedule.
Erie can be rough, though tamer than the other great lakes, but you may have an easier time if your ski is a bit heavier. I bounce along the surface in all but the most calm water but I have a sub 500lb machine and am very light myself.
