Best Places Around Edmonton

I live in Edmonton and am looking for a good place to Jet Ski. Unfortunately, all the lakes around here seem to suck. Anybody have any good recommendations. I am looking for a decent lake within an hour or so of the city.

Wabamun alright once you get through the weeds.
Long Lake = Crowded.
Alberta Beach/Isle Lake = Green.
Cross Lake = Best I found so far.
Pigeon Lake = Problem with waste disposal and swimmers itch.

Man I wish I were back in Manitoba/Saskatchewan where the good lakes are!!

I'd be down for a river ride... I am also looking for good places to go. I hear Wizard is pretty good although it's a little small.
