I agree with yodaman. Rattlesnake Lake in Medicine Hat, Lake Newell in Brooks, and 40 Mile in between Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. There is also Stafford Lake 10 mins east of Lethbridge which seems to be a very popular spot. I've never ridden in Chestermere (just east of Calgary), but I'm guessing that would be a great spot too.

Count yourself lucky. Chestermere is a truly horrible experience. Expensive launch fees, small lake, dirty water and tons of weeds. (every 10 minuts or so you need to stop the boat, get off and rip out the weeds that are wraped around your impellor) If you don't want to drive very far from calgary go to Ghost reservoir instead. Yeah the water is cold but it's clean.

Thanks for the info fast.asleep. I've heard good things about Ghost as well. There is also a good lake in Alix, AB, just east of Red Deer from what I've heard.
