Got scammed buying a machine....

So i give this piece of shit 100 bucks for a deposit on the machine over western union. The piece of shit then calls me back thanking me for the money and gives me his home address in KELOWNA! He tells me to come on up and finish the deal. I google the address and it's legit. So i go all the way from victoria to kelowna to get screwed.

What a piece of shit. I'm not as pissed off about the 100 bucks. I'm pissed about the lost day at work. The 200$ for fuel up and back. and the 150$ for the damn boat back and forth to the island.

I reported the ad but it's still up.

The address was to a public park. The voice mail on the cell phone changed names and the phone was off.

Next time someone asks me for a deposit, bank to bank wire transaction is the only safe way to send it. They will have to give all their REAL info out to collect the money.

Ouch! I almost learned that lesson too on ebay - never use Western Union unless u know the person.
