    Default drive a seadoo to vancouver island??crazy idea anybody in?!

    ANYBODY IN FOR CRAZY PWC ADVENTURE TO DRIVE TO VAN ISLAND FROM THE MAINLAND,ANYBODY KNOW HOW MANY MILES IT IS ?CONDITION OF SWELL?WE WOULD NEED A BOAT FOR BACK-UP OF COURSE FUEL ETC... ANYBODY IN DROP ME A LINE

    Wow that would be a long ride. Make sure you keep an eye on the weather because once the wind kicks in its one bumpy ride. You get alot of "Small craft warning in effect" on the Strait.

    it used to be done in the bathtub races. they crossed the entire straight and finished in english bay. the distance i think is about 38 km, straight line.

    You could do a Gulf Island run from Tswassen. The distance is shorter and there is some great looking scenery. I sail around them and they have camp grounds which you can only get too by boat.

    you would need to be carrying extra gas, oil, tools, and have a gps and a compass handy. you would really have to know the tides.

    and have tons of sunscreen. tons. and maybe some beef jerky snacks.
