Check your Point Atkinson (centre of our tidal universe) tides for best times to trail ride. (usually late afternoon). Parties at beach every nice weekend till Oct.

Hey, that looks really neat. Don't you pick up a lot of debris, though? (I'm feeling a bit sensitive about that because I picked up a 2-3 inch piece of wood this afternoon, riding across the mouth of the Fraser... I've never ridden up the Fraser, and this hasn't made me a fan of the river!!!)

You can jam your jet with a little piece of crap anywhere. Hit the kill switch, as soon as you pick something up, skid to a stop, rock the boat a little, start & go. Sometimes you've got to use the reverse trick (straight backwards fast, then QUICKLY stop motor & lift reverse bucket). Another method is to burn it out. (hard on equipment). Make a weed rake out of a heavy coat hanger, for the real nasty plugs. I always carry one + big knife & screw driver for cutting stuff, and turning driveshaft. Gotta beach and roll machine up on left side, for this one.

When it the next ride. I will be there with 2 boats and riders. Have a full tank in each boat and have to burn it all before storage..

Last hot day of the year. 10 skiis. Launch in Ladner after lunch 1pm 'ish, at Capt's Cove, Ferry Road. Meet at First Beach. Do trails, Big Billy Round da World, and / or whatever.
