    Default Endurance Runs

    Hi,

    If anyone interested.

    1. Rocky Point BC to Nanaimo
    2. White Rock to Victoria Harbour
    3. OK Lake. Penticton BC - Kelowna - Vernon - Indian Arm and return to Penticton. Fabulous run and is awesome. Fuel in Kelowna and Vernon Round trip is about 4.5 hours with stops.

No dates set as of yet but plan for Sunday runs. Feeling the interest?

Two Kawasaki Ultra's for the Strait Runs and two Ultra's and a 1100 Kawasaki for OK Lake thus far.

All Welcome! Sea Doo, Wave Runner, Honda, Polaris and is a Team Accomplishment.

Good times and is not a race. Safety in numbers and we will... have a BBQ after we all make it home safely.

email me direct at jet_ski@shaw.ca if interested.

    Thanks

    Hi Aaron, thanks! (c;

Rocky Point is on hold for now but most likely do this in late August so we have the warmest air temperature. Rocky Point is in Port Moody so would be a fun ride and run under all bridges to Stanley Park and then out to sea, right across the straight to Nanaimo.

White Rock ( #2 ) to Victoria is a nice easy run ( an afternoon ) however will be running about 15 miles in US waters to Saturna Island for a top up, and laws say we cannot stop until we are out of US waters unless there is an issue or emergency. Am pretty sure its 21 miles to Saturna Island ( not far ) and then 41 miles to Victoria from Saturna. The 250's get 50 miles per tank so will not have to pack extra fuel. What kind of fuel mileage do you get on the GTX? The Sea Doo's handle themselves excellent in an ocean environment. Used to ride them in Key West, FLA. all the time.

My Ski is equipped with GPS so navigation will be a breeze.

    What to bring?

    A Passport... lol JK

    PCOC. Pleasure Craft Operating Card

All mandatory safety equipment equipped for your sled. Always good to pack some extra plugs.

I am going to wear a 6mil full suit with a Costco special 3/4 over top of this with a PFD and Mustang Air Force Life ( inflatable ) Jacket over this and a divers head suit and booties. As much as I love BC, its not the Caribbean! Really do not want to drop 500.00 on a dry suit.

Let me know to if you want to meet up at Cultus one day. Will probably be out this Sunday evening after 1600 if you would like to chat.

    Cheers
    Bart

I'd love to do the White Rock to Victoria run. I'm just plagued with a shortage of time this summer so far. I'll try to make this though.
I've got GPS and a handheld Marine VHF radio for equipment + all the cold water wear. I've also got a big drybag that I can clip to the back of the ski for 30liters of additional storage. Really great thing to have.

Also, just FYI - the area between the Iron Workers and the Lions Gate bridges is a no-go area for PWCs.

    Hi Kev26,

No date set for WR to Vic as of yet and will love to accommodate to your schedule too. Its a Team effort and will be allot of fun for you to join us. Excellent tips for bring-a-long gear!

Will look into the no-go areas as you mentioned, and was not aware of this.

    Have a great day.

    Hi
I am interested in the White Rock to Victoria Harbour run. Have a 1998 GTI and a 1998 GTXL two of us will go just send me a PM when you have a date.
Going to figure out fuel mileage. I know my GTXL with the 951 just loves fuel.
Always out at the Tsawwassen ferry spit...
