    Default Hello all

Hey all, i recently bought a package deal of a 93 yamaha waveblaster, and a 95 XP. The 93 ran like a charm, and the XP the first week awesome campared to what i saw on the water. But the second week i encountered a prob with the XP. Seems when i try to start on trailer, it runs great. as soon as i get it into water, it'll run up perfect then start to feel as if it's bogging by lack of fuel, though i'm not sure how to fault find it. I've replaced the plugs first, so there's lots of spark. Any idea's????
    Thanks for any input.

Check the fuel filter located just under the front seat latch. (The metal loop that holds the seat down shares the bolts with the filter underneath)

If there's lots of crud in there, the filters inside the carbs might be plugged too. If thats the case you'll get okay performance but then it'll start bogging as the fuel cannot be supplied as quickly as it's being used.
