Cultus - Evening ride Wed. June 17th

We are going to be heading up at about 3:30 right after we pick the kids up from school. We are planning to take the small BBQ and have dinner there as well. Hopefully the weather holds up. We will be at the South end of the lake at Maple Bay boat launch. Hope to see you there.

I gotta try the ski after installing the PJS exhaust system. Not sure what to expect as far as gains in hp, but hoping to feel a noticeable difference in the pull.

Anyone here got the annual parking pass? Someone just told me you can get one for $25 that's good at all the provincial parks, but I don't know where I'm supposed to buy it.

That being said, I may be out at this gathering. Got a wee bit pink last Thurs and it's just starting to fade. I'll really have to hit the tanning bed to get rid of the PFD lines.

You can only get them through BC Parks over the phone:
604-689-9025
They'll give you a 'reservation number' so you are good to park right away. They mail you the pass. It's good till the end of the month of the next year. ie: buy it on July 1st and it's good till July 31, 2010.

I won't be able to make it after all. Even if I was free, my coil is still giving me grief. I was out today and found that I still had a 701 'single'. Had a good time on the X2 at least.

Hey, is the way to the Maple Bay boat launch a right turn off the main road (Columbia Valley Highway) just before Lyndell Ave?

Yes that's the one. They have signs posted for Maple Bay. There is a picnic area there as well. If you are going to park in the boat launch area you have to have a trailer. They are ticketing violators.

Your annual BC PARKS pass can be purchased at the second Gatehouse on Columbia Valley Highway. After Sunnyside Campground and just before Entrance Bay or Jade Bay boat launch.

They accept cash, Debit, VISA for sure!
