The dealer can take care of that for you. Usually doesn't cost much. I wanna go for a ride... Hurry up and get it.

Just out of curiousity, what were the two deals you were offered?

Well they are supposed to take care of it but they said they dont have man power to go get it down.

I wont get to much in detail over the internet with the deals, but the vx was trailer included with lower interest.

The aquatrax it would have been under 14000 new. They are 17 000 new without trailer and admin fee's.

Aquatrax would have been sweet but slitly out of my price range.

Sounds like the VX was a good deal. Looking forward to hearing when you're ready to ride!

    Default Launches in Orleans/Ottawa

Hey PaulB, I also live in Orleans and I can recommend a few launches around our area. I am usually out on my 2007 Stratos fishing and am in process of getting my 96 SLTX 1050 head rebuilt.

    1. Petrie Island (launch charges)
    2. Rockland Marina (launch charges)
    3. Quigley Hill off 174 towards Rockland 2 minutes from Petrie(free access)
    4. Blair Rd (free access)
    5 Wendover (free access)

    Hope this helps.

Petrie sucks. $8 for crappy docking facilities and the entrance is filled with weeds. I'd hate to have a boat going through that shit.

Quigley Hill, is that the ramp that has a very steep hill to climb? Sounds like it's the one. I heard the parking is limited.

I don't know Wendover and never tried Rockland.

Blair Rd is good. Need to be careful of the boulders/large rocks hidden in the water. Good location and good parking.

Anyone every used the Rideau system? I've used Eccolands. It's good here. Some waterski association setup a buoy course. I love racing and zipping through it! Double Concrete ramp and loads of parking. Water is like glass usually, but can't really explore much because the waterway is blocked off on both ends by canal locks.
