30° next week (Sept 22nd and beyond)
I'm hoping to get in a good ride next week given the awesome forecast. Anybody have any plans within the lower mainland?
I was looking at this thread from last year, and I'd definitely go for something like that. Seems like it would be a waste to do 17 laps of Cultus when bestowed with a final slice of summer.

I might be in for something, but i dont think the Fraser is high enough, but we can always check the levels somehow, or maybe a trip from Port Mann to English Bay?
Let me know when u are available, as i am off during the week.TheBaldEagle

If I can make the time I'd be in for a Harrison Lake ride. Possibly 1 morn. during the week? Need to be back by 1:30. Launch is free at the breakwater.

I'll have my ski in Van this coming week so I'd be in for a fraser to English Bay, I would probably just meet you near Richmond on the fraser Aaron. I'm likely out for going to Harrison this time of year.
Mike.

Can you launch from Surrey instead? I dont like to ride that much of a river by myself in case i eat wood... otherwise, hmmm.
Harrison is best left to higher waters = worry free riding. Last time we ate rocks.
Next Sunday looks open for me.TheBaldEagle

Count me in for something around Sept 26-28th.
I'm coming in from Calgary with with either the 08 RXT-X or the 09 Outlander XT. Since the Outlander XT isn't that great in water I think I'll take the RXT-X if the weather holds out for the weekend.
I'd really like to do a Vancouver-Victoria ride. I'm not sure how feasible that is on short notice.
Either way keep posting in this thread on what the plans might be.

Haven't ridden the ocean yet. I'm assuming I'd need to pick up a wetsuit to do so.
