Default 1997 GSI oil in hull

I went to winterize my 1997 GSI and there was about a liter of gear oil in the bottom of my hull.
Where all is there gear oil?and could this be a series problem?

I think its injections oil, this happens alot on the x4 hulls and I just had the same problem, I was told on the x4 it leaks around the filler and the pick up, but I've never seen a drip on mine but it did leak out when I over filled it once time.

    Default Oil leaks

Chances are your oil lines and grommets are weeping oil because of their age. They are probably the original components and are getting hard. You also might want to check the oil tank seams for separation.

IF you have the grey tempo lines you should replace them asap as you could seize the ski because they degrade over time and clog the tiny internal fuel filter in the carbs, or at least clean the filter every year.
