X2guy SJ build - For real this time.
Finally got the motivation when my -4 X-metal pole came in. I've have also since decided on a powerplant for this sucker. Finished defoaming today. Ready for the carbon reinforcement, scupper install and trim cable tube install. I'm planning on leaving the foam out and installing some neat little screws at the rear to drain out any water that may get in. I was really surprised at how good this hull is for a 96. The foam was extremely dry. I'll post what I'm using for an engine when it comes in...Cant wait!!!

It's going to be sweet. I can't wait till my top end gets here so i can post some pics. I'm hoping to get it all sanded and primed by next week. Working on a paint scheme right now. Thinking about a candy apple red with some kind of silver design then tons of clear to give it depth. Ordering turf today but not sure if I want to go black or white right now.

I'm just going to lay a sheet or 2 of mat on the underside of the tray to stiffen it up. I then shouldn't need a support underneath. Most of the time your weight is at the rear anyway where the pump cavity supports the tray.
Still waiting on my top end to ship. They are waiting on the sleeves.

Got motivated today...think I've got this pneumonia licked finally. I added some 19oz weave to the bottom of the tray. It is super solid now. Molded up my footholds and cut roughed them in. Still waiting on my carbon fiber and top end. Made a $400 order to greater yamaha yesterday for all the odds and ends I need as well.
