Default 1995 Kawai 750XI revs but poor accel, then at full speed jumps in and out of the lake

    Hi there,
Just like the title says my jet ski revs up but barely moves then once you finally get it up to speed it starts jumping out of the water even when the lake is calm.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Dan

So im guessing i have a weird unheard of problem??
If anyone has a manual or anything it would help as i plan to take apart the pump and check all gaskets and such so at this point anything would help as i have never worked on seadoo's b4
    Thanks,
    Dan

I wonder if it could be misfiring? My SXR was runnning kind of weird, not making all the power it could and then getting it back in short blasts. I replaced the plugs and its better now.

Hey just wondering if anyone has her of capitation causing this problem?? its something to do with air bubbles getting into the jet causing loss in pressure they say some kind of seals in the jet could do this???
If anyone has heard of this and if it makes sense that would be great to know.
    thanks,
    Dan

Yes, it is cavitating. Your impeller is damaged or there is debris in the pump. Have it fixed and your problem is gone.

I agree with Chester. Check your impeller for damage. I've also had things like pine needles on a river in the fall cause cavitation if I rode over a pile of them. I'd pull them out and the problem was gone until i hit another pile.

Your bouncing is called porpoising. Most machines do this at high speeds. Even my boat when the trim is up too high. Try to lean your weight forward to prevent it. A longer ride plate also helps.
