Overheating Polaris
I have a 1999 Polaris SLHT. When I started it up after sitting for the winter in the garage I noticed that brown colored water came out from the manifold port on the bottom of the ski. When I took it out on the water it heated up quick at idle or just off plane. Hot light keep coming on and off whenever off plane. The cylinders were really hot. Any answers?

Did you put winterize and install antifreeze into the cooling system and exhaust system? if not, maybe some water in the cooling passages froze and expanded and cracked the exhaust manifold. run the unit on land, with a garden hose and check for water leaks in the engine compartment.
