The best batteries I have come across are Deka batteries. They are a sealed AGM (absorbed glass mat) type battery. They still require proper care during the winter months but are well worth the money.

    Default Battery

Yuasa battery model# YIX30L-BS will fit your seadoo. Any powersports dealership can get you one.

Yuasa batteries have let me down many times. I run a total loss ignition so itis very important to have a good quality battery. The Dekas are hardly any more for the quality.

Maintenance free does not mean just letting it sit on the shelf until you need it, still charge it at least once a month to keep it in top shape until the spring. Maintenance free usually just means you don't have to worry about the acid levels as it is a sealed unit. I remember talking to my old interstate rep and he said that batteries loose 1% of its charge a day, if the charge gets too low than it starts to desulfate and the battery starts to break down. Proper battery maintenance will greatly extend the life of any battery especially in powersports. They are not like our car batteries that get used every day, they sit between uses and need top upped if left for a prolonged length of time.

Good choice on the napa battery, I believe they are relabelled deka batteries which work great.

I bought a couple AGMs from BassPro for my Sea Doo GSXs. They're Deka batteries.

I bought a napa sealed battery(maintenance free) last summer, it worked well for the summer/season so now I'm interested to see how it does on the second season of use and hopefully a third season...! And I used it in a stand up so it was banged around quite a bit.
