Went testing ride plates at the river today. Also brought out the radar. Gearing up for the race on Sunday.

The 650 Super Jet runs excellent. Nice linear power. Excellent bottom and mid. The radar showed 48 and 49 mph on two runs against the current, and 50 mph with the current on both runs. Top speed is not really that important but it gives a baseline. Buoy to buoy acceleration is what we are looking for. The 650 runs like a 701 62T cased, Factory B piped SJ with duel 38s. I won two weeks ago on a 45 mph SJ. It had good bottom and mid. The field is an eclectic group of skis, 650 Superjets, Kawasaki 650SXs, 550JSs, 650 and 750 powered JS hulls.

The racing season is over. The 650 class had 11 contestants. I won 2 of the 3 motos. The race I did not win I ended up 4th, giving me a 2nd for the overall that day. I had a yardsale at the start of the race and the track marshall had to drag me back to my ski. I also raced the 750 class which was combined with novice 800 ski. Only 3 of us in the 750 class and only 6 in the 800 class, but at least there were 9 ski racing around the buoys. Got a 2nd in the 750 class and was finishing 4th among all 9 skis. The 750 winner was on a 750cc 2009 Superjet( punched out). He actually holeshotted the 800s in 2 of the motos and beat everybody. I got him in the 3rd moto when he did not get the holeshot.

Damn, 50 mph on a 650.
Just did a mild build on my 701 SN, hoping to see some decent numbers but I doubt I will get those.
