The Senate Transportation Committee will hold a public hearing at 9:00 a.m., Friday, February 24th 2006 at Representative Hall in Concord on HB162.

This bill seeks to establish a 45mph speed limit statewide for New Hampshire boaters.
Itís critical that you make your voice heard on the basic freedom to ride issue.

Granite State PWC owners already know right from wrong when it comes to boating. We donít need scarce law enforcement assets pulled off life saving tasks like drunk boating and reckless boating enforcement, so they can hand out tickets to the Good People of New Hampshire.

Boating ďspeed trapsĒ set up in coves isnít the answer; enforcing the existing law and education are.

Taking time out of your busy day or from work isnít easy, but itís essential that the Senate Committee see boaters come out in force and stand up for freedom.

Please make every effort to attend this public hearing and make your voice heard. Make sure you inform fellow PWC owners and boaters. Donít forget family members. If there was ever a time to get involved, now is that time.
