I just found this event while Browsing and saw mention of Canadians attending. I am thinking it may be nice to take a vacation / road trip down there. Does anyone on here go to this event ? Is it a good time ?

Hey Brett, glad to see you found the forum.
I have been to this event twice and I know steveuk has been about 5 times. It's an amazing event put on by some of the greatest people. They started doing two a year and the second one is in October. It's about 13 hours from central Ontario but not that bad of a drive.

i know a few that go to wavedaze from do here in florida. it takes about the same time to get there from here, maybe a little longer.
if we dont go to havasu this year, we would love to hit the october event. though i have to be honest, i would love to to surf slam someday.

great event, great group of guys there, but now they have it twice a year makes it hard to do both events

we wont be making it to the fall event but will likely be at the one in spring

first one we have missed since 2000&H8
