New rider from Victoria here with an early 90's Kawasaki JS 550. Only been out once so far but am excited to get into a new sport.

Just wondering if there is anyone on here from the area as I don't yet know anyone else with a jet ski. I don't mind hitting up the lake alone but eventually I think it would be cool to try some river riding, if there are any around that are suitable(parts of Cowichan maybe?), and maybe some ocean riding, and I definitely wouldn't want to be out there by myself so if anyone is interested in going for a ride sometime let me know.
