Which way to flip ski?
I've heard if you turn over a jetski the wrong way after its been flipped you can do some serious damage to the motor. I just picked up a 1993 polaris sl650 and i was wondering what the proper way to flip it is with minimal damage.
Thanks
Mike

if you flip it the wrong way you can risk getting water in the engine (at least on seadoos) through the carbs or water from the exhaust jackets.
best bet is to read your owners manual.

got the ski onto the trailer today, and it had the instructions on the rear, and you are supposed to rotate it clockwise

Yea, rotate it clockwise when behind the ski
There should be a sticker on your ski that tells you which way to turn it though.. seen it on almost every ski i had to turn over

Yes, clockwise on that model. A good rule of thumb, for any PWC, is to always turn it so that the carbs are rotated up and the exhaust is rotated down. Any Sea-Doo with the 951 engine must be rotated counter-clockwise.
