Omair Bin Thani won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the first round of the UAE Jet Ski Championship, for the Runabout Superstock up to 1200 cc at the capital's Break Water area.

The race, which was the main and most important event of the GP was dominated by UAE national drivers as Rashid Suhail Al Tayer finished second and Mohammad Nasir Al Mansouri third in the 18 lap competition.

A great future is predicted for the waters sports in the UAE as UAE national youngsters Al Murr Bin Huraiz, Ali Nader Bin Hindi and his brother Hosham Nader Bin Hindi finished in the top three places of the Junior Stock up to 800 cc respectively.
