PWC registration
Guys I want to buy a used PWC privately. How can I ensure it isnt stolen-before I give the guy my money? Is there somewhere I can run the VIN or license stickers (side of PWC)? What paperwork should I expect to receive with it?
Thanks!

it's kinda hard to do compared to a car or bike.
customs is actually the place that registers boats and watercraft. you could ask them for background on the supposed owner, make sure his info matches what is on file for the registration numbers. other than that, it's gonna be a crap shoot.

Ya, looking forward to the water warming up a little and all the ice fishing debris sinking/washing onshore. Could be a fun summer!
