Default Big Ski gathering, competitions, outdoor event

Has anyone heard of the big ski out? Races, ramps, slalom, two stroke and 4 stroke divisions, free style, corporate sponsors, food, prizes, and much more.

Well, you just might some day.

I'm sick. I come home and it's fkn raining again, (of course).

    Todays forcast:

    Kamloops:
    A few clouds
    Temp:
    25C Pressure:
    100.5 kPa Visibility:
    102 km Humidity:
    44 % DewPoint:
    12 C
    Wind:W 7 km/h

    Vancouver:
    Rain
    Temp:
    16C Pressure:
    101.4 kPa Visibility:
    38 km Humidity:
    72 % DewPoint:
    11 C
    Wind:SE 13 km/h

I stopped counting the skis that were on the water, not to mention all the marine stores on the way. Now I know why.

I was looking at the Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park Link and they say they do not have a boat launch at the park. Where do you guys launch your ski ?

It was fairly easy to find. As you drive down the escarpment, you will see the park on your left just above the water. And get this...parking and launch was $3.00!!!

So what's the deal with Port Moody charging $16 bucks to launch in their swamp? Have they lost their minds?

Anyhow, are you planning to go out there before summers end?
