Just to simplify things, I'll drive up and launch under the Pattullo bridge. I'm assuming it's on the Surrey side, at the foot of Old Yale Road.... If not, I'll drive around until I find a way to launch. See y'all in an hour.

Sounds great. Need a quick stop at Princess Auto to get another bilge pump.

Leaving now. Robo, if you read this, yes that's exactly where it is, right at the pub. Stop and pay the bartender $10 for park and launch.
And good advice Jetlag, will keep that in the forefront of my mind. Too bad you can't come.

    See everyone there!

Those are great pictures Kev. What model camera were you using? Think I need one like it as your pictures are awesome!
Specially like the last one of Rob with sun behind him. Perfect with that slight water swirl.
    Good job!!

It just doesn't get better than this!
Sunshine, warm weather, a beach stop, lunch at Granville Island, Cruise Ship waves, and flat calm blast up the river for the finale.
Great meeting you all & we have to do it again sometime.
    Superb pictures you guys.
Looking forward to the movie edition!

Thanks guys, the picture of Rob was a fluke to be honest. I was just trying to get Rob with sun in the background and I lucked out.
Camera is a 4 year old Pentax Optio. Always taken pretty good pictures except now its performance is starting to degrade and I'll probably have to get a new one soon.
