The biggest passenger jet in the world touched down at Vancouver International Airport on Wednesday as part of a round-the-world test flight.

The Airbus A380 is capable of handling up to 800 passengers.

It's the only North American stop for the the super-jumbo Airbus 380, which had made previous stops in South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and China.
Vancouver was its final stop before it heads back to its home base in Toulouse, France.
About 400 aviation enthusiasts were watching from a field adjacent to the airport in suburban Richmond as the double-decked jet touched down smoothly.
