Something has been bothering me, so I may as well ask.

Just curious about that picture #4 and would like Rob to step up to the plate and explain what he was doing at just that moment. LoL .)

There wasn't much variety to work from as some of the shots were in the same spot for a few minutes. Others not clear, jittery or too far out.
Didn't want it to turn out like when my mom and pops had people over to see a slide show of our summer vacation. (chuckle)
Always good to shoot a bit here and there as the variety makes it interesting.
We had a 60 minute tape but barely used any of it.

Gettin' chilly here too. But will be going out again when the sun is out and I'm not stuck doing a deck.
Looks like rain all weekend so far .(

I admit it looks a bit suspicious - and there have been times that my 'ski deserved it. But I was just retrieving my camera and GPS.
Sunday might be ok this weekend, I'm not sure if I'm up for the whole distance again - I have to be home a bit earlier than last week.
I'll keep an eye out for a where and when. Hope to get out at least one more time this season.

All my video is pretty shaky and bad. I'll post it up to YouTube this weekend anyway and Peter if you want any of it let me know and I'll get it to you.

    Thanks Kev.
I first do the editing, add music clips, then use VirtualDub to deinterlace the footage, then compress it into mpeg 2 for uploading.

A bit of a process, though as you tube is re-compressing a third time I try to get a bigger and clearer image than without.
I will look at what you have compiled and get back to you.
    And thanks for the offer!!!

Ok, I messed around with my GPS and got the full track from our trip.

Here's the route we took going out to Granville Island:
    Started- 1:37pm
    Length- 34.5miles / 55.5km
    Avg Speed- 14mph / 22.5kmh
    Elapsed Time- 2:30:34

Here's the route from Granville Island, out to Lions Gate, messing around with the Cruise ship and home again:
    Started- 5:18pm
    Length- 33miles / 53.1km
    Avg Speed- 19mph / 30.6kmh
    Elapsed Time- 1:41:36

    Total ride stats:
    Started- 1:37pm
    Ended- ~7pm
    Total Length- 67.5miles / 108.6km

If anyone wants here is a link to the KMZ Google Earth file. If you have Google Earth installed (or download it and install if you want - its free) you can open this file and it'll show the route.

Oh, good idea. Went back and got some stats from the GPS and updated the posting above.
